Ukie supports NESTA's Creative Business Mentor Network
Games businesses urged to sign up to get one-to-one access to games industry experts.
The NESTA Mentor Network gives games companies the rare opportunity of one-to-one mentoring with some of the most successful business people in the games sector. Games industry mentors include Andy Payne (CEO of Mastertronic, CEO of AppyNation and Ukie Chairman), Mike Hayes (senior industry executive, including most recently as president and CEO of SEGA Europe and SEGA of America) and Miles Jacobson (Studio Director, Sports Interactive).
The Mentors are passionate about games and volunteer their time as a way of giving something back. They share practical advice on overcoming the challenges of running a creative business and have helped a variety of games companies build business success.
The Network is now in its third year and can benefit creative companies in a number of ways:
- improve business planning
- encourage better communication
- improve financial management
- improve decision making
- increase confidence
- identify new markets
Games companies that meet NESTA's eligibility criteria can apply here for the chance to work with the industry's most successful business leaders.
