UKIE highlights battle against video games theft on BBC’s Fake Britain

UKIE’s intellectual property crime unit featured in an edition of BBC 1’s Fake Britain programme last week, promoting the importance of protecting the video games industry’s intellectual property. The programme focused on the threat to the games industry from the illegal copying of games and the work that UKIE carries out to combat IP crime on behalf of the industry. The programme follows UKIE’s IP crime unit as they undertake a raid on the house of an illegal games copier. It also features interviews with UKIE staff and Miles Jacobson, MD of games developer Sports Interactive.
